Lecture notes concentrated on the skill set that require learning to get real success in OSCE. The information in this book presentation as scenario's and categorized into 4 sections:
- Communications skills: This section features an effective communications skills and example of dialogue between patient and pharmacist.
- Pharmacotherapy Problem solving: This sections presented in scenario based format, as patient presentation and patient profile. Suggestion are provided to properly analyze and fully solve drug related problems.
- Non-interactive Practice: This sections provides samples and hands and training on solving prescription and dispensing errors.
- Reference Sources: To properly analyze and solve the problems you must refer to information provided in patient profile and references provided on the desk. This section provides the some gold standard reference summary like compendium of pharmaceutical specialties (CPS), patient self care (PSC) and therapeutic choices (TC) etc.
